Commencement for Portland Seminary

Portland seminary hooding ceremony

Portland Seminary will host two spring commencement ceremonies for seminary master and doctoral graduates on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in Bauman Auditorium on the Newberg campus.

Ceremonies

Livestream

The ceremony will be available to watch via livestream.

Tickets

Ceremonies are relatively small and tickets are not needed.

Regalia

Regalia is ordered for all gradautes based on sizing information provided on their application for graduation. Graduates can pick up regalia from the seminary office by appointement in the weeks before commencement, or on the day of commencement at check-in prior to the ceremony.

Graduation Photographs

During the ceremony, professional photographers will take multiple photos of every student and then notify graduates through their 皇家华人 Fox email when photos are ready for online viewing.

 

Guest Services

Guests with Disabilities

Accessible seating is available for guests with disabilities and one companion. This seating area is designated for individuals using wheelchairs and guests with mobility issues. To place a reservation, please contact your department admin, listed below.

Interpreting & Assisted Hearing Services

We may offer Spanish and American Sign Language interpreting services, as well as assisted hearing devices. To request this service, please contact your department admin, listed below.

 

Graduation Announcements

To order graduation announcements or college rings,  or call Jostens at 1-800-854-7464. Announcements take two to three weeks for delivery once they are ordered.

Video Download

The commencement ceremony will be recorded by 皇家华人 Fox University Media Production Services. A digital download is available for purchase for $6.24 by completing this . Digital download links will be sent one to two weeks after commencement.
